 Recently updating my resume. generally the hobbies column in the resume is non-extinct  or would say just  "reading books, watching tv,..."

Since Iam bit different, the hobbies column almost occupied a full page.  Mostly are the things which general people don't dare/care to do.  Now when I reflect on these some common characteristics are

- mostly done alone (or) don't care if somebody joins or not. If somebody joins great.
- should be challenging either physically/mentally
-generally different from others do ( not by choice/force, but that's what happens )
- mostly outdoors, with nature.
& finally helps to be in the present moment.

Here it goes

Hobbies                :   Varies over time, covering various interests




Travelling all around U.S.A in 19 days,          finishing San Francisco Full Marathon,                      Climbing Aconcagua ( 21k Ft ) mountain in Argentina, Attempting Pumori ( another 21K feet mountain next to Mt Everest) ,              taking bath in ice cold Manasarovarlake,   Horse Riding in Bangalore Palace,  Samba dancing in African Carnival on the streets of San Francisco,             rock climbingin Darjeeling,         attaining yellow belt in taekwondo,       trekking on Thar desert,         Attending several weeklong meditation retreats with full silence in Ashrams,     driving between the lanes in freeways of America on my bike,   distributing pamphlets for AOL courses,     Chanting vedic mantras and understanding ancient scriptures ,   About 30 weekend treks in Sahayadri/California hills,                    Day tradingin stocks,        Sitting  throughout the night in torrential rain in Sahyadri hills,                       Completing  Amarnath,Kailash yatra,             Doing continuous 108 Surya Namaskars,   Taking yoga classes in Bangalore central jail & counselling the prisoners,          Planting 2000+ trees,  ………


Now planning for 10 ten advance course in aol ashram, scuba diving trip to andaman. 


Still have many more TODO hobbies ;)-

    Happy to see the heights, wherever you wanted to land, in different terrains, with determination to achieve, no matter on how difficult it may be, in such shorter span of your life with good work life balance and personal satisfaction.
